A Big Square
a question i’ve never been
able to grasp:
when you look in a mirror
at a forty-five degree angle,
and see a light reflected
through the mirror,
but you can also see the light
from its original source:
it feels like there is
double the amount of light,
which seems odd
and/or
like a glitch in the matrix—
there’s an easy explanation
but
no!
i do not want to hear it.
“whoever discovers the
interpretation of these
sayings will not taste
death,” but they will taste
something, so let me
know when you’re enlightened
and i’ll point the mirror
in the right direction.
