As much as I wish it wasn't so, I don't make much money doing this.

I've sold a few books, but putting out all this content doesn't pay. It probably won't pay for a while, but that's okay. I enjoy it, and that's why I do it in the first place.

Every time I stop at a Starbucks to work for a couple hours, I bring three dollar bills and a quarter. That's because the lemon pound cake is exactly $3.19. Every single time.

Unfortunately, that gets expensive really quick, so I try to limit my trips to Starbucks. After all, a couple hours of writing there doesn't earn me back my investment. (Can you really call it an investment at that point?)

It would mean the world to me if you donated to what I'm doing. Among other things, it would help me:

  • Sit in Starbucks and write more cool content
  • Pay for G Suite every month for my email
  • Keep my website up and running
  • Keep subscriptions to the small suite of software that I rely on
  • Save money for my future projects

More than anything, it means that you believe in what I'm doing. It means that you care enough to encourage me along this path. The returns aren't here now, and they may never be, but I'm still on the path. It's easy to get discouraged, especially when an article doesn't do so well or the book sales fall completely flat for a couple days.

I'll keep going no matter what, as this is my life for as long as I can sustain it. I'll be looking for ways to monetize it better in the future so that I can continue to do it for the rest of my life.

Thanks for your consideration,
