i’m sure there’s a way to do this in photoshop.
it’s way more satisfying to do things in a command line.
documenting this in case i ever need to use it again.
if you’re interested in trying this out, install imagemagick. I recommend installing homebrew and then running brew install imagemagick. it’s fairly easy for a non-programmer like me to do this.
make a copy if you’re going to use mogrify. it overwrites images.
```mogrify -geometry x600 *.jpg
```mogrify -type Grayscale *.jpg
